Day 7 Road Tripp

Instead of sleeping in we were up early to sit with Laird so Alex can take a friend to the dentist. Laird is quite nice early in the morning, and not so bad the rest of the day either :-). He does have a bit of a stubborn streak, but I have no idea where that came from.
We walked about 237 times around the block and rode in the little red wagon almost as many times. We did a little shopping and sanded Alex's dresser we brought from Creston Rd. As soon as Laird goes to bed, we're going to paint the dresser.
Its been a beautiful day. Clear blue skies, occasional views of Mt Rainier, and nice coolish temperatures. I have no idea how long this will last- the weather thus far has been about as close to perfect as possible.
Last night was cold but we borrowed a quilt from Alex and were very comfortable.
The camper is in the driveway next to Alex's because there is no one in that apartment, so we are very close, the best site yet.
